About the event
Tki Francis of Real Gunkie has the knowledge to teach you the basic skills of sewing. She has a BS in Fashion Merchandising and Consumer Studies from Louisiana Tech University and has participated in fashion shows all over the country. Tki has even hosted fashionable events herself while show casing the designs of her brand Real Gunkie as well as other designers. This is the class you need to learn the basic sewing skills to start your hobby or clothing line.
In this class, you will learn the following:
-Hand sewing
-How to operate a portable sewing machine
-Basic pattern making skills
-Sew and complete a pillow project
