Sewing Class New Orleans Level 2

Tki Francis of Real Gunkie has the knowledge to teach you how to sew a garment. She has a BS in Fashion Merchandising and Consumer Studies from Louisiana Tech University and has participated in fashion shows all over the country. Tki has even hosted fashionable events herself while show casing the designs of her brand Real Gunkie as well as other designers. This is the class you need to learn the basic sewing skills to start your hobby or clothing line.

In this class, you will learn the following:

-how to take basic measurements of the body

-how to use a pattern

-sew a garment

-fabric selection

 Your class includes the following:

-rental of portable sewing machine

-use of a sewing kit

-fabric

-materials

-refreshments

-sewing project

-small gift

If you have no experience with a sewing machine, please select the Level 1 Class. We will not discuss any basic sewing skills. We will jump right into the course. You must know how to operate a sewing machine to participate. You do have the option of bringing your own sewing machine just let us know in advance.
